Amberly Lindner and Karen Ackersviller-New owners of Urban Jars Stratford and area. Perth County-we are here for you! We are so incredibly grateful and excited to be the new proud owners. Our friendship began years ago in Perth County through our husbands (who are childhood friends).

Amberly grew up in Rostock, one of the small towns in Perth County and after meeting her husband in Stratford one evening, moved not far down the road, got married and now has the pleasure of raising their four beautiful children on her husband’s family farm. Being the now fifth generation, and raising the sixth, Amber embodies and radiates the values and culture handed down from generations before.

Amber’s background includes healthcare and after having had the pleasure to work at a hospital and help many people Amber has always felt a sense that her true passion is being a Mom, and working from home where she can share her passion and be closer to her family at the same time. If Amber has learned anything from raising four kiddos it’s that they are always asking for a snack or looking for something to eat, and when it comes to meal times you had better have something planned or else everyone is going to be getting hangry, enter Urban Jars! What better way to have meals ready for the family and stay connected with this beautiful community, so when the opportunity was presented to own Urban Jars Stratford, two friends chatted and realized there was no reason not to chase their dreams!

Karen grew up in Mitchell but after meeting her now husband, they decided to head out west for a life changing adventure. They settled down in British Columbia’s interior mountains, bought their dream home, got married and had two children. But after being in BC for ten years they decided it was time to move back to Perth County to be closer with family and start a new chapter.

​

Karen was a Hair Stylist for over 15 years but since becoming a mom she has been looking for a change of pace. With her need to serve others and the idea of being closer to home she thought Urban Jars would fit into the healthy lifestyle she wanted to create for her and her family. Karen is excited to be back and to reconnect with the community she grew up in!
